Delta One TLV JFK

Delta One TLV-JFK, a330-900 neo with suites, very pleasant experience. Delta improved service almost back to better days.

Had the beef Kebab and mashed potatoes with Salsa delicious. The ice cream sorbet with cardamom sauce and pistachios was also delicious. The salad was uninspiring. The pre selected meal was delivered. Not sure if this is special catering for Israel based flights, the other choice was zaatar spiced chicken breast with risotto, but it was much better than last year. Pre Departure drinks real glass. Breakfast was Frittata again very well. Though I do not eat bread, it would be nice and more suited to have warm breadbasket with a few choices to choose from. Also missing the cheese tray as an option for dessert. The other desert option was pistacio cake. Not sure if this is due to night flight. But again Delta restored service, and much better than it used to be. Though Delta One service was much better 5 years ago. No printed menu besides the entrees. You need to read the QR code. Also would nice to get PJ light Virgin Atlantic or Polatis, and mattress pad will be nice addition, but got 5 hours of sleep. The amenity kit was meh. Nothing special, liked the Tumi better. Also liked the westin material better but was comfortable. Overall Delta runs a solid Product, flight on Friday night was full. Can see why they add Atlanta flights. A choclate was served before landing thanking us for taking the flight with them. Service is lovely.

The only complaint was long security line, no prioriity for security line for initial security interview for Delta One, only at check in. Ended up standing in line for an hour and a half and I am Israeli
