Incorrect GUC/RUC Expiration Date of 1-31-2023
I thought GUC's and RUC's are valid (must fly by date) for a period of one-year after the date requested as a Diamond (or Plat in the case of RUC's) benefit.
Wife requested her four Diamond GUC's on 5-11-22, but the expiration date on them on Delta.com show as 1-31-2023.
Same thing for me:
Diamond GUC's requested on 2-2-2022, but expire on 1-31-2023. (OK, only two days earlier than they should expire).
Plat RUC's requested on 3-13-2022, but the unused two of four also expire on 1-31-2023.
For both of us, the GUC's and RUC's were for status earned in 2021. Wife was never Diamond until Nov. 2021.
We requested the GUC's before they were needed to get the SkyClub benefit. That was our screw-up because we had no idea that the Diamond Benefits can now be redeemed individually instead of all together. Still, we really need wife's four GUC's to be usable to May 2023.
Is this a "Call Delta matter?"
