Through most of my travels to the Schengen zone, I can’t remember if there are any arrival airports that have a separate exit for hand baggage versus luggage retrieval. Most exits I’ve been to route through baggage claim regardless. Frankfurt was like this before where you exit the secure area into the departure level and leave without going down to baggage level, at least in the A/Z terminal.
