Okay, semi-complex question. My outbound reservation is ZZZ-DFW-LHR(stop for just over a month)-JNB all on AA flight numbers. The fare construction is as a ZZZ-JNB fare. I'm scheduled through DFW on this Sunday night to LHR. Given the
existing waiver covering travel to/from/through LHR, am I eligible to change ZZZ-DFW-LHR-JNB to, say ZZZ-DFW-LHR(month+ stop)/(Other European City)-LHR-JNB? Note that the LHR-JNB leg still falls within the time period that the powers that be at LHR have asked airlines to cut pax numbers down.
