I have found EF seatmaps less and less useful. Probably the only thing you can be sure of, if it says the seat is occupied, it is occupied.
But it says seats are blocked which are not, seats are paid which are not, even seats are available which are not bookable even for pay for a given pax.
To be honest they work quite well with airlines like British Airways, so I wonder if it could be an airline specific thing.
