- There are posters everywhere explaining that they do not honor late check out because they are a “resort” and not a “hotel.”

- Zero elite recognition at check in. Not a thank-you, no bottle of water, nothing.

- No room upgrade at all (we are facing the parking lot), even though many are available for sale on our dates.

- No water bottle in the room, etc.

- Just checked the internet speed and it is 5 mb/s, which the speed tester categorizes as “slow.”
This hotel is known for not granting the 4pm late check-out. but it is against the rules, and there have been successful reports after pushing via MHC or so. Not ideal obviously and very annoying.
Water bottles are provided at check-in and they are taken from the fridge by the bar. there are no bottles in the room
upgrades: the rooms looking over the parking lot are probably one of the best, as you have more view. there is not much more to be expected, except the Casitas as mentioned by Matt4200
There generally is no recognition for Globalists at HP in the US. Outside US is a different story.

The hotel is as such very nice, new, superior US HP. Breakfast as standard in the US HP's, nothing special. Downside when I was there 3 weeks ago, all plastic, paper and foam plates/cups/etc. that was annoying for us.

This hotel is extremely busy and hence the reason for jumping 2 categories to a Cat4.
