We would need both original arrival/departure times plus the new ones to be sure. But the allowed amount on 8 days notice is either 2 hours early to departure (so 08:55 isn't compliant) or 4 hours late on arrival time (the 18:05 may be inside this). So it may just be outside the compensation limits.
