I actually heard someone say DYKWIA.
This was at LGA back in the day where the entire staff was always grumpy. I'd be too, if I had to work in a place that was dark, smelly, overcrowded and full of New Yorkers in full self-important big city mode.
I was waiting at a gate for the flight after the current one, the GA had cleared all the Pax and closed the door.
A guy sauntered up talking on this phone a mile a minute and threw his BP down on the counter, still on the phone. The GA informed him that the gate was closed.
This is when the guy actually said the exact words DYKWIA? The agent calmly looked down at the screen and said, "Why, yes i do" your Mr. xxx, you're global services and you've missed your flight.You might want to be on time next time" Some shouting ensued until he walked away with a little black cloud over his head still talking on the phone.
