Tip 2 : concerning Kmar passport control
these are the passports the E-gates accept:

EU: Schengen countries
Switserland
USA
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
South Korea
Japan
Hongkong

If the E-gates actually work, you can use above pictured countries' passports to use them
An explaination if they work: https://magazines.defensie.nl/kmarma...genlijk_8-2015

If you hold an UK passport:

As a British passenger,
you may no longer use the automated passport control system upon arrival.
Instead, follow the ‘all passports’ signs to a manual desk.

You may still use the automated passport control system upon departure, however.
The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee will then stamp your passport

Checks for transfer passengers

Transfer passengers arriving from the UK do not need to pass through Security Control again at Schiphol and must only go through Passport Control if they cross the Schengen border.
I know the eGates aren't always open, but when did they start accepting non-EU passports (e.g., Japan, USA, or Australia)?

The Schiphol website still says: "You can use the automatic gates if you are 16 or over and hold an EU passport that contains a microchip."
