My experience is that flying B6 with an AA flight # is NOT an eligible segment. A possible caveat is that I flew on miles (which is atypical, especially since codeshares aren’t generally used/permitted for mileage bookings — my mileage flights on AA metal have counted, which I didn’t expect).
