I actually saw an A380 specific liveried maintenance truck at T5A today, so they must need it. Presumably 18 months in the Spanish deserts mean lots of teething problems. Would be interested to hear economics of operating them nowadays (even against the old RR 747s) vs say a 773. 4 engines on 2000’s technology must be a drain.
