I expect the new FS to be a game changer in the Twin Cities. IMO, we have a number of good, even very good, hotels, but no great ones. The building itself is beautiful, although I have not been inside, and it's location is excellent. They opened reservations for the adored-local-chef-owned restaurant on Monday and the demand was so great that it crashed the site. Oops. The menus for Mara are now posted and I'm excited to try it. It's hard to say how the hotel opening will go with the ongoing staffing and supply issues detailed in many posts in this forum. The current price point seems reasonable, and if I were coming in from out of town, I'd stay there in a heartbeat!
