My understanding as well.
We did this "loophole" in February of 2020, but sometime in the past 9-12 months, it was reported on here the loophole was closed. You'd have to read back through to figure out what the source was.

The loophole was that the shuttle was cheaper during the day trip like $25 round trip, now it is free during the day. so some people got a "free" transfer to the hotel.
