- when this club opens, the C-1 club will close for a full-gut renovation that should last about a year to a year and a half. When it reopens, it will have a similar design to this club, though a bit smaller at 17,000sf
- the new A club is under development, but is likely going to open late 2022 or early 2023. The lounge will be 12,500sf (8000sf originally, plus 4500sf from Air Canada) and feature a terrace similar to the United Club at LGA
- New A will be mostly mainline with an O&D focus. There are a few gates that will be widebody-capable. United will have 10 preferential-use gates and access to as many as 6 more on a common-use basis
- The east/odd side of C-2 will be converted to regional gates
.
Maybe a recast as "future EWR UC space enhancements"?
