Laughlin is the hottest point in NV, when the LV temperature is a "cool" 110, Laughlin can hit 120+.
I've been there many times. While Laughlin is generally hotter than Las Vegas, the area immediately adjacent to the Colorado River enjoys a cooling effect from the water. The river through Laughlin is just a few miles downstream from the Davis Dam. The dam inlets are well below the surface of Lake Mohave, and the water that flows through Laughlin is ~60°F year-round.
