Thank you! The issue is that her drivers license is still under her maiden name and we don't want to change that until the naturalization certificate's name is fixed (otherwise we'd have to change it again once the certificate is fixed).

I guess the problem we would face by continuing with applying for PreCheck with the incorrect name would be that her drivers license (Jane Doe) would no longer match the name on the ticket and the name on file with PreCheck (Jane John Smith). However we both have CLEAR and we would be gambling with the fact that IDs aren't checked so it may be a non-issue anyways? If ID were to be checked and ticket were booked under married name but license was maiden name, is that an issue? Or does TSA care about last name not matching if the first name and the picture on the ID at least match the person?
