I stayed recently at the Andaz and Grand (both upgraded me to a full suite), and at the Park years ago. For your itinerary, Andaz and Park would probably be better located -- closer to the airport, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Louvre, and Ferrari Park. It's true that there is nothing near the Andaz, but the rooms are nice though the service was shambolic. At that price, you won't be able to complain. I don't recall seeing any taxis lined up there, but you could easily arrange one.

Grand is at the other end of town. You could wander around downtown in the evening (it would still require a taxi to get to the center) though there's not much to see. Traffic won't be a major issue, though, so if you don't mind 40 minutes or so to the airport, a bit less to the other major attractions, it's an OK choice. For Globalists, they converted the steakhouse to the Grand Club, with meals and happy hour.
