Not sure what did it in but wouldnt surprise me that as much as they tried to limit the amount a person can earn, some folks found ways around it. The good thing is if you still go to Shell in some areas it will be alot quicker to fill up. The folks standing around and hawking the fill ups for $XX wont be there , and some even put out announcements what time theyd be there and lines formed
Of cause all that had to be done is limit how many times a fill up can be done in a 24 hr period. Doubt anyone would go once a day to do just 1 fill-up, it was being able to do countless fill-ups that made it worthwhile for them
Where was this done? In the years I was buying gas, the only time I noticed other FR players was once at a Giant of PA, when it was the evening of the last day of the month, and I saw a couple people with gas cans cashing out their points.
