Sweden's been open for quite some time to visitors from the US. That non-stop trips will become more possible for more is a further opening, but the restriction on non-stop travel has not really been a show-stopper for US visitors to Sweden. The number of US visitors to Sweden since summer 2021 until now has been considerable.
