Surprisingly, my DFW-SEA flight last week was upgraded at T-12. The pre-order was still available. I made a selection which stuck. The FA c onfirmed my order on the flight. My subsequent SEA-PHX flight upgraded a few hours past the T-20 cutoff with the same result.
