The funny thing on this one was myself and cricketer Jr were #1 and #2 on the upgrade list respectively. Got the text that the upgrade had cleared, and went in to select seats, and I'm still in E+. Very confused, then I discover they've split the reservation, and even though I was #1 on the list and Jr was #2, Jr was upgraded and I was not.

Maybe this was already known, but seems that when one seat opens up, and top of the list is a pair, they're splitting it, and then sorting alphabetically (only explanation I can think of) to determine which one of the pair to upgrade. There's plenty of space available, so I'll get the upgrade anyway, but this was intriguing (and cricketer Jr hasn't stopped laughing yet).
