Flying into LHR just requires a passenger locator form, and SA only requires a 72 hour test, but the biggest problem is flying back to the US. They require a 24 hr test, and I was wondering if it was possible in my 6:35 am to 11:35 am layover in LHR, to get a test and its results back.
As I understand it, the U.S. requirement is no earlier than the day before the departure of the first flight. So a test done at JNB should do you for the whole trip back to LAX.
