But I hope that someone at United realized that they need to look at keeping flyers who have high spend during a period of low business travel. And who may continue to give UA relative high spend during this pandemic. Then United can readjust their levels once business travel picks back up. But I wouldn’t be surprised if UA doesn’t do this.
Well, let's see if there are any newly minted GS by month end. UA may be a bit short staffed right now and still dealing with the impacts of the BoB/FttF fallout.
My travel patterns had remained mostly unchanged from way before the pandemic up until the beginning of this year. And although I’m probably not that profitable to United, I probably would have switched my entire spend over to AA 2 or 3 years ago if UA hadn’t given me GS status.
Profitable enough though.
