If you’re outside of the 24 hr window, you can’t get a refund unless you bought a refundable ticket.

Thought so, sounds like my only option is to do the refundable ticket method with GC to make sure I get the $112 left over from Amex travel credit back. This time I'll make sure it's only 1 ticket.
