Alternatively, if this is a domestic trip* find a flight (between any two domestic airports) that costs between $55 and $105 and buy that ticket first, then click Modify Flight and change it to the one you actually want. No gift card needed.
*I am less sure if an international fare might have additional restrictions that would make this trickier but maybe somebody knows one way or the other...
