I just tried to apply a pass for someone travelling tomorrow. I got the message "Your recipient has already taken off! Please apply your Status Pass to a trip that has not yet started." He cancelled check in and I still got the same message. Any idea how to get around this?

Edit: He was on a return leg tomorrow. Looks like a status pass can't just be for part of a trip, but has to be for the entire trip.
