For AA Dining - you get 1 mile per $ spent from dining from AAdvantage Dining.
If you use an AA CC you get 1 mile per $ on your CC from Citi or Barclay. Thus effectively 2 LP.
Some non-AA CC give a multiplier for Restaurants - so some may choose a different CC and then only get the 1 LP from AA Dining.
I think the question is - is AA going to count all things that currently show as Base Miles as LP, such as on EShopping?
Or are they reading these threads and going to make changes?
Sounds like they are already changing what people currently show as Base miles from Bask Bank.
LP was introduced a simplified way to earn points towards status. Now it looks like it is going to be much more complicated. With AA having to modify what is Base for LP and what is Bonus miles for RDM from each source.
