My AA flight miles always post 3 days after the flight. Other stuff varies, but CitiBank is usually 2 days after the statement closes. I never have figured out why the delay for flight miles. One thing I'll say for UA, the miles post the next day, and I've had UA flights post the same day on more than one occasion.
