Madrid Airport Transfer
Hi my wife is a Ugandan citizen. I am flying her to Cuba to meet my Canadian family for the first time in December. On here way back in January she will be stopping in Madrid Spain for 5 hours and 20 mins. I booked return ticket through turkishairlines.com, but her flight from Havana to Madrid is on air europia operated by Turkish airlines. When contacting Turkish airlines they said they don't have agreements with air europia and she will have to collect her luggage in Madrid Spain and recheck in on her next flight on Turkish airlines to Istanbul Turkey. I'm trying to figure out if she needs a visa for Spain and which one. I have spent hours doing research and I am really confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
