Keep it. It's fashion week. I don't believe in trying one's luck for an early arrival. I always prebook. Nothing worse than than being jet lagged and not being able to freshen up or rest.
Personally I would probably cancel the first night and book a cheap night at one of the CDG properties (probably the HR) and use that room to take a nap for the morning. Or even the Yotel if it's open again. Then move to the PH around check in time and, if you're a Globalist, hope for a room upgrade.
The HR/HH/HP can often be had for less than EUR 100. It seems like a waste to use 30k points for a shortish nap... even if you're flush with points. The added hassle of moving hotels is pretty minimal if you're going to be taking a taxi into the city either way (and the HR/HH/HP are on the way into the city anyway).
