I have a companion voucher from the express amex card (no annual fee). The voucher is one of the new ones issued after 1 September 21 from what I have read this only entitles you to book an economy seat which I am fine with but I have never used one before and wondered if anyone knows the answers to the following questions:
1. Can I book a flights from different airports? I want to fly LON - MIA but return JFK-LON.
2. Once I have booked can I prebook seats on the flights? I can do this on regular flights as I have silver status but not sure if this applies to reward flights?
3. If I wanted to upgrade to WT+ at a later date is this even possible?
I want to try and get the most value out of the voucher as possible so many thanks for any help/suggestions.
