She would like to meet them at the gate in Atlanta, feeling it would be very reassuring to them. Will she be able to get a special assistance pass so that she can do this? If so, what does she need to do in order to arrange this?
If she requests wheelchairs at the time that she buys their tickets, can she be confident they will be available at both Rochester, New York, and Atlanta, both coming and going?
Wheelchair agents are NOT always (as promised) at the gate. [I know that at JFK T4 there are frequently more WC requests than agents to push the WCs--this is more so on holiday weekends.]
