The status quo keeps EU money in the EU and brings American money to the EU, as well. The VIP's will continue to travel wherever, whenever they please. Reciprocity is nice, but from a fiscal standpoint, the powers that be in the EU has little reason to throw a hissy fit over it. We can whine all we want about fairness and equality, but none of that really matters in the real world.
