Caveat: You had better fit every “I”, cross every “t”. I had friends who secured SFO-HKG-DEL return Business award tickets using Cathay Pacific. She had one minor problem that got by docs check at San Francisco and Hongkers, and could have easily been corrected on arrival at DEL. She was detained, had her passport confiscated and was escorted to the departing CX flight to Hong Kong, where she was escorted to the next flight to SFO, where she was given her passport by the purser on arrival. Needless to say, her tour and the money she paid for it was lost as well.
