I think the world's politicians have a secret contest to see who is the biggest buffoon. There must be sub categories such as who can do the most damage to their travel industry. Who can cause the highest number of job losses and lost wages. Who can say 'follow the science' the most. Who can provide the most convoluted justification for why their lockdown worked when the numbers don't back it up. Who can have the longest immigration lines with no 'social distancing'. Who can be the most out of touch with the citizens of their country. Who can be the biggest hypocrite. etc etc etc This is a degree of insanity I never imagined possible.
