Don't hold your breath. They haven't even started vaccinations in Thailand.
They are not going to allow plane loads of dirty farang in to potentially infect the entire country.
Actually, they have started vaccinating... a few weeks ago. And they just approved J&J. They now have 3 vaccines approved.
They are also starting to test shorter Q for vaccinated people, as well as allowing people who are in quarantining access to outdoor dining, exercise and pool. If it goes well, they plan to bring the Q to zero for vaccinated people in October.
There is also talk of making entire resort areas Quarantine zones in the summer. (aka Phuket)
So yes, I feel very confident about October and beyond. And don't be surprised if it moves up quickly to August or even July.
