For those who have crossed from the US to Canada at a land border recently, has your experience been that there are minimal lineups?

For testing that satisfies Canada’s incoming requirements we have chosen to go to a walk-in clinic that does Rapid PCR tests and then provides results certified for travel.

Follow up — since quarantine rules , as I understand them, require you to go directly to your place of quarantine — what about returning the rental car? Is that permitted? How is this explained to border officials?
