Hollywood, DTLA and (sadly) Santa Monica are all places I’m trying to avoid these days. Local residents who live there will likely tell you they’ve had it. I’m someone who lived in NYC for 15 years and started splitting my time between there and LA a few months ago and I’m constantly shocked to see the challenges LA faces in sheltering the homeless, especially compared to NYC.
I guess my point is, if you’re choosing between Hyatt properties, I’d go with the Andaz any day. (There should be a Caption, former Tommie, coming to Hollywood soon as well.)
