Further restrictions/changes in Wales from 4 December 2020

Hospitality and entertainment industry
Pubs, restaurants and cafes in Wales will be banned from serving alcohol from Friday and will be unable to open to customers beyond 18:00 GMT. Businesses can offer a takeaway service after 18:00, and if they have an off-licence can sell takeaway alcohol up until 22:00. However the rule allowing four people from four different households to meet indoors in pubs and restaurants will stay in place.

Indoor entertainment and visitor attractions, including cinemas, museums and galleries, bingo halls, bowling alleys, soft play centres, casinos, skating rinks and amusement arcades will also have to shut.

The decision will be reviewed on 17 December.

Travel between England and Wales
It has just been announced people will be able to travel between Wales and England's tier one and two areas. Travel into tier three zones is still prohibited under the regulations, which come into force at 18:00 GMT on Friday.
