The website definition is inclusive of either an one-way, roundtrip, or mult-segment itineraries. The definition provided in the post is by flight segments, which means that an itinerary with 3 segments would max out the bonus.
Hi PTahCha, we actually pasted from the website. On our announcement, find “details about this special offer” and “What’s a trip?”. Terms and conditions can also be found there. We define a trip as a ticket, and one-way trips count if they’re on a ticket; so do round-trip or multi-segment. We award bonus PQP based on the PQP value of the eligible trip’s ticket. Flight segments are only relevant if you have a mixed itinerary with travel on Star Alliance partners, in which case we’d only look at the United segments, or if your trip’s ticket isn’t completed before March 31, 2021, in which case we’d look at the segments you completed prior to the end of the promotion period.
