If you like crispy fries, nothing beats Freddy’s. Thin shoe string style. Burgers are similar to Steak & Shake (thin with crispy edges). Love Freddy’s fries (and custard) but prefer a local bistro who cooks their burgers sous vide to a nice medium rare.
But hopefully throws it on the grill to finish? I tried sous vide homemade hamburgers in the summer. I was not crazy about the texture, I must say. Maybe further experimentation is required.
