Exactly.

AA has been attempting to get better at segmenting its passengers (and even its fare classes) now for many years.

As has become the norm here lately, the minute there’s a change, some members seem to overreact without waiting for the whole story.

EF announced in fairly short order that they’re working on differentiating between the paid and upgrade inventory. I’m confused about many here seem to have immediately hit the panic button.

Other airlines, DL included, are much more of a black box than AA when it comes to the information that is made publicly available to sources like EF.
