I did not receive an email regarding the offer, it was an Amex Offer (listed alongside other merchant offers) and I had to log on and add to card as you do with those offers.
I've already achieved my required spend - and did receive an email confirming I've hit the spend and earned the promised points (although the points have not yet hit my account).
