We also have a holiday booked, for the second half of December. Read all I could find, seemed reasonable so decided to book an escape from the grey winter in Europe. In all honesty, for peace of mind, I am thinking of voluntarily doing a PCR test and bringing it along, the cost of €100 is definitely worth making.
(Our initial intention was to go to the Maldives, however the infection rate has blown up recently, as a result of which the risk level was raised to the highest and is therefore a no-go for me. On the top of that, EY cancelled two of our four flights, resulting in connections of more than 24 hours, which currently is not allowed.
