Yes, it was AE. I didn't realize there would be a difference. I mainly fly United and if a meal was offered, it would be on both mainline and RJ's, the difference being that United RJ's don't have ovens so it wouldn't be a hot meal. But it was still offered.
That's a bummer as it's a 3 hour flight.
