Maybe that’s the most viable future model. Airport-operated or third party lounges only apart from LHR and maybe JFK.
IB used to have its own lounges at Frankfurt, Orly, and Mexico City, now branded as “Premium Traveller Lounges”. I don’t know if Iberia still has any involvement in the running of these lounges
