How does Miles&More deal with cancellations due to government travel warnings? Fee?
We have used M&M miles to book a Condor flight to the Canary islands. Now, recently the German government has declared this destination as a risk area and is officially warning to travel there. We are not afraid but due to the consequences upon returning (e.g. quarantaine) we can not travel there anymore and need therefore to cancel these tickets (or rebook to another destination but then not on Condor but LHG airlines).
Will the M&M service team do this without the normal € 50 change fee? Can it be done online? Anybody had experiences with this before? Thanks
