What's the right move here - wanting to upgrade friends ticket
I have a quick question. I am travelling CE in the beginning of October. My friend has a return on the cheapest ticket with the outbound being on the same flight as me. I want to upgrade him to CE on this leg.
There is space in CE but I can't upgrade using Avios. Can I just book him another ticket and somehow keep the return ticket active?
