I reckon UA dodged a bullet here with COVID-19 and the lengthy absence of a decent UC at EWR Terminal C after the old UC was closed for Polaris lounge rebuild.
Complaints about pop-up lounges vs. a proper UC aren't flowing in at the previous rate, I reckon.
It's good to see that United is progressing with construction, so that maybe a brand spanking new UC opening can coincide with flight-volume picking up again. Hopefully.
