Had a fantastic stay here last week. Upgraded as a Diamond at check-in from a basic King room to a King Taksim Suite. In the app I was only upgraded to an executive-level room, so asking nicely at check-in can do wonders, especially since hotels are so empty right now. The suite was the best hotel room I've ever stayed in, super spacious and beautifully appointed. I have pictures of it in the "diamond suite upgrade" thread. Loved the marble bathroom and lighting system, and the views of the city were absolutely stunning from the floor to ceiling windows.

The lounge is currently closed, and the lounge replacement is a mixed bag. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is a simplified buffet + cooked to order eggs/omelets. Food was ok but service was really hectic for drinks and eggs. The lounge happy hour is now also in the restaurant and consists of a set menu (app+soup+main+dessert) and well drinks. All pretty mediocre and we only did it a few times. There aren't a lot of interesting food options in Bomonti but there's a great sushi restaurant a block away called "Wu" that turns into a bar/club at night.

Service was great, every employee was friendly, even if not all spoke English. The indoor pool is closed, but the outdoor pool and spa facilities are open.

Will definitely stay here again next time in Istanbul. Yes, it's outside the center, but everything is a $5-10 taxi away.
